As the title showed, is it of any use for the rank if the backlink is from a site with hith PR but the page it links back is PR0??? Well, I would not say, because I had my link in 170 links were pageRank was 0 . And my page now PR3 from this one page only... so PR0 is not 0

Well - I'm NewBie, so I can't send PM
Yes, It was so. I had page with no PageRank who linked to my second page, and in result I had PR3...
If you could PM me your other Contacts, I could send you links to those pages, but the in general situation has been changed, because I have less links from than it was, and now It has changed a bit, so it could not be ideal example. In my situation, my main page is PR 0 but some of my sub pages are PR1 and PR2. How did you made that happen?
I believe you need to wait a bit. That is not instant to change the PR for Google That's true - I've heard even about that PR what we see, is not the same with that google calculates, that is they are using two different scripts. PR is no more in consideration announced by Google. Thanks for all your answers. i think the pr what your mention is not zero. maybe it is zero now. but sometime later, it will become 2 If you get a backlink from the subpage of a high page rank site, even if the page is pr0 it would have more impact to your site than getting a backlink from an index page with same pr0.
