specifically - does everyone have WINGDINGS? I need a checkmark & was hoping I could use a wingding instead of creating a graphic for it.
I've always wondered what the default fonts are for computers - I guess I could go find a computer with nothing installed on it to find out - but was hoping someone knew if there was a list somewhere?I don't have Wingdings on my Linux box. I'm not sure if Macs have it.

Everyone should have at least these fonts: Arial, Verdana and Times New Roman.not on my Mac ...so if you don't have wingdings - so when you go to this page - http://www.tomkrettler.com/media.html what do you see before the Wednesday, March 5th date? A "?quot;? Bugger, guess I'll need to make a graphic - any windoze ppl out there? what do you see?Originally posted by shellyblake
A red checkmark, not a very smooth one though, I think you're better off making a little image anyway, with anti-alias.on the mac just a red dot instead of a blue one, on win2k without wingdings i see a red tick instead - use PS and type out said character. Then render the layer and greate a jpg of the charcter then everyone can see it ...Originally posted by shellyblake
Yes, a red ?
I agree with Rydberg that a graphic would be better.

Shelley, a small gif might be easier to set up. For one that size, I'd be surprised if you went over 1k for it. Most clip art collections, even the one in Word or WordPerfect should have one that you can play with.
