What does this mean?

I just noticed that google is crawling my site, which is does frequently. But now the URL it's using is http://www.powerwriting.com:80/1/index.html. What is the :80 and why would they use that? That :80 is in all the URLs on my site that google is using. I don't know what it is.sk80 is the default port for an HTTP server. So they shouldn't need to include the port, unless the server is running on a port other than 80.You should talk to your host about it, i would guess its a problem thier end..Unless seomone somewhere has linked to your site using the domain and the port, Which is unlikely.I'm not sure I understand what you mean. But will it effect my index listing in any way?skIt may. Google will see then as different sites, Similar to how it see http://www.domain.com and domain.com as seperate sites..Google has crawled the port 80 from link somewhereas meman says, be careful as having your site be indexed under two urls will trip google's dupe content filter.Really you want to have your site listed with out the port 80 extension to your url, I would suggest you make a list of the pages being indexed like this and do 301 redirects too rectify the situation.I have no idea how they're getting a port 80 on them. And I have thousands of pages. G crawled last night and none had an 80. I see one does this morning, however.it is more than likely that as motioned above by roxy, that someone somewhere is placing a link to your site with the :80 port reference in it, if this is not the case, google bugging out is not out of the question. Since the Bigdaddy google infrastructure update there have many unexplained things going on. They are having problems indexing sites, they have a problem with hyphenated domain names, they still appear to have be having problems. Obviously their never honest about whats going on.
