HELP!
OK - this may be a simple question for you experts, but it is driving me nuts. I've checked my HTML at <!-- m --><a class="postlink" href="http://validator.w3.org/check">http://validator.w3.org/check</a><!-- m --> and no matter what DOCTYPE I use, it generates tons of errors although the page appears fine... What DOCTYPE should I be using with FrontPage 2000 or is w3.org not a valid resource?
DOCTYPEs I've tested (minus the !-- comment chars):
<!--DOCTYPE HTML PUBLIC "-//W3C//DTD HTML 3.2 //EN"-->
<!--DOCTYPE HTML PUBLIC "-//W3C//DTD HTML 4.01 Transitional//EN"
"http://www.w3.org/TR/html4/loose.dtd"-->
<!--DOCTYPE HTML PUBLIC "-//W3C//DTD HTML 4.01//EN"
"http://www.w3.org/TR/html4/strict.dtd"-->
Any advise would be GREATLY appreciated!!!
Thanks!
Mike
