Hi,
what do you guys think about paid posting?
Being the owner of ForumBoosting.com (http://www.forumboosting.com), one of the first paid posting services, I must say that this was first an experiment (since there was noone in the market doing this), and it gladly took off, helping hundreds of webmasters to build their forums easily.
It may seem that with paid posting you will create a fake community, that will disappear once the service will finish - that's not exactly true. The main mistake of many webmasters is to think that by purchasing 75 paid posts you will create a community. That's not the case! Experience showed that in order to have results you must plan a posting campaign of at least 3 months, purchasing 1400-2000 posts to be spread slowly on a daily basis. Once you have this, people will naturally flow in and interact with paid posters, that being still hired will reply to the threads, creating a community feeling. And well, once 3 months passed its supposed that a little community has been created, so paid posters will slowly go off, leaving space to "real" posters. This can also be done with 10-15 friends willing to post on your board for months, but how many can dispose of such help? Hope this explains my point of view on paid posting
