What do SEO Companies charge? And what do they promise? Can anyone give me a rough estimate?

I definately wouldn't go for companies who say "No 1 or we don't get paid" They end up using a short term method to get a long term keyword to no 1 which then dissapears after a while. This is not question that how much SEO company will charge you.
The question is that how much business you will get after this service.
If you consider this than $5000 is a big amount for a company and not big for another company DEPENDS on ROI.
