What changes needed plz check this.

Hi all.
My forum was running on a payed hosting plan and every thing was good.
i take a backup of db and forum files.
now payed hosting plan is closed and i just cant get backup again.
Now i want to host forum to new payed hosting plan but before buying a new hosting plan i want to test my forum backup at home on my pc. i have installed xampp. uploaded forum files to httdocs directory and db to phpmyadmin successfully and forum is running ok.
I have some problems plz.
1= Dont know my admin password i forget when click forget password it will take me to my old domain address not to the localhost and cant register new user cause problem of domain address. All links goes to old domain name.
2= Cant see any images and forum style its like naked ^___^ LOL.

Plz tell me how to?
 
This was my problem to go in to admincp.
After search i got idea get a password first of any user make him admin from tools.php
reset your own admin password then you can change your domain.
Same as change all link for images folder and you have done.
