Hey i was wondering if anybody knew of any good books to learn CSS 2. I have been told of a couple but dont know the names. If anybody could help me it would be appreciated as i really want to learn it.

I cannot recommend any CSS books because most are out dated or inaccurate and I don't know what learning style you like to follow.

I second that. It's an excellent book. Read it. Or perish.In terms of learning CSS 2 though, D.W.W.S. isn't really the book to be using. If you already have the concepts and whatnot of CSS 1 down, then looking into CSS 2 won't be that hard. If you are just looking into CSS, then D.W.W.S. becomes a better resource, but again, it is more of a general book on web design versus a pure CSS book. You might want to look into HTML Utopia: Designing Without Tables. The title is slightly misleading in that it won't really show a table based layout and then how to convert it over, but it's more of a general book on CSS, and it was released in May of 2003, so it's current. You can also find chapter examples on the site for the book.

Although touted as for someone who already knows CSS, sounds like a few beginners found it good. Also, it was published in 2002 so it would be abit more recent.

The site I visited said Jan 1, 2004, but is still in the pre-order phase (great if you need D.W.W.S first). Search at your favorite book store by isbn 0596005253. It has the same picture on the front, so don't be confused.
