(Am not neither of two. LOL)
I wanna answer the question "What are your SEO recommendations?" in general.
Learning basic is the best foundation. Start reading and understanding the Google Webmaster Guidelines to know what it takes to have a search engine friendly website. (Also create a website for people not for SE's).
Know the myths and false beliefs in SEO. Myths and incorrect information should be dead as soon as they arise, that fast, before it can propagate and give false information. Knowing them and the correction will take you in a long run, it'll act as your shield.
Do not try to be somebody else in doing your SEO thing. Like other activity, the style of others might not work for you, so better to create your own style and be in your most comfortable 'bubble'.
Don't be afraid of experimenting. I know experimenting takes some 'sacrifices', but it worth the shot. Remember "you cannot leave a footstep on the sand when you're afraid to step on it".
Learning is good, practicing what you've learned is better. Don't just read and learn from SEO articles and to anything you hear / read, practice them and see which one works for you best. Also do not give all your trust, have a skeptical mind to object / agreed to the authors or some point of their convictions.\[/quote\]
