I see in the screen shots of VB7 a tab for Design Time Controls. I had assumed that they were being dropped in favor of the similar drag and drop functionality of WebForms.<BR><BR>Since DTCs work with SOM (Scripting Object Model) and scripting is being largely replaced by compileable languages, what gives? It is true that the SOM is written in JavaScript which is still supported but does that matter?<BR><BR>Do DTCs provide an alternative WYSIWYG like page development paradigm to WebForms.
