anyone know how to put keywords somewhere in the script of ur index page so it doesnt show up, but like google picks it up? isnt it like meta type or something?....

whats the code and where does it go?
taI think you are referring to the tags description and keywords, which provide information for search engines. Note that major search engines do not use them, instead working on a full-text search.

Check out this article for more information: http://searchenginewatch.com/webmasters ... hp/2167931
Adami tried this as the opening of the index page...

weng

.......blah blah blah...

but it doesnt really seem to work. surely if u typed any of those keywords into google in some random order google should find that page first?Google's PageRank is far more advanced than just checking keywords. Your page has to have worthwhile content (and perhaps be linked to from other good pages) to appear high in the results.
Adamcheersactually those meta tags will work, it jus takes a long while for search engines to pick them up, maybe a month, it may be because, they have to refresh their db of sites to search etc...who knows but as i said jus pop those meta tags in and itll pick them up ina couple weeks.
