Weird tables...

I feel so stupid asking a simple HTML question...but it's a very strange one. When I have border=1 in a table, arranges itself correctly, but when I make border=0 (which is what I want), it tiles it. Go to the URL below to see what I mean.

Table on top is with border, see how it's arranged? Table on bototm is without border, but same code! Take a look @ the code and tell me what the heck is going on here.
http://www.jkwdesign.com/temp/test.htmlthe problem is that your cells have no content and the width of the table is 100% but the width of the cells is only 186 plus one cell undefined width (but with no content). Just drop in the word "test" in each cell of each table and they will display the same (except for the border difference) I am sure.
Why the border setting is making your two empty tables display differently I do not know, but it seems adding the border allows the browser to compute the width of the table/cells better than without the border.Heh heh...wow. I feel smart now :D Thanks kevin, I can't believe I didn't troubleshoot more before posting! Ahg, lol.
