I dont know if this has been discussed but i just found something that i was wondering if you lot could explain to me.If you go to Google and type in your domain name (eg. http://www.wedding-designs.co.uk/" then it should say under the result -Quote:I think its the address of the folder in the google cache where your website is or where info is storedActually it appears to be a page serial number or ID.Every page seems to contain a unique number ... Removing the page name from the URL returns the same page ...You learn something new every day. Thanks, just wondered if it was a prob with my browser or somethingI am now certain this number is a page identifier ...Note the site name in the following URL then see what page is displayed.http://www.google.com/search?q=cache:UjY_52il1hYJ:www.dogtagsdirect.com+site:www.dogtagsdirect.com.comIts a different no for the cache sometimes though? Not really sure what you want to know?Does the number change after each update?Does the number change every day?Is it different for links and cache?I can't answer these questions ... never really looked this number before.
