Many sites try very hard to get you to make their site your browser home page. This is the page that comes up when the browser is first launched and this would obviously increase the number of hits on their site. Most people stick with a Search Engine as their browser home page. But what if you could persuade them to use a page that was genuinely useful and had the advantage of having your site logo and link on it. So what kind of page? Here is a sample:-
<!-- m --><a class="postlink" href="http://members.aol.com/nickjc67/nsearch.htm">http://members.aol.com/nickjc67/nsearch.htm</a><!-- m -->
It would obviously be of your own design with your websites logo and link on it. This would rely on the browser cache to display the full page when it is not online. There is a full article explaining it all on my site here:-
<!-- m --><a class="postlink" href="http://members.aol.com/nickjc67/article7.htm">http://members.aol.com/nickjc67/article7.htm</a><!-- m -->
What do you think? If you use this idea, please put a link to my site <!-- m --><a class="postlink" href="http://members.aol.com/nickjc67">http://members.aol.com/nickjc67</a><!-- m --> on any page you create. Thanks.
