I am looking for an open source php script to allow visitors to my site to submit their favorite links.<br /><br />I have looked at phplinks, and could not install it to save my life. It is telling me "The database connection has not been accomplished. Check the file config.php fits this model. So, I'm guessing I don't have the appropriate information plugged into it.<br /><br />I went into cpanel and created a DB - it's called myusername_links. Then I added a user: it's called myusername_user and myusername_password. <br /><br />I left hostname and "localhost" and prefix as "dir_"<br /><br />Am I pulling incorrect information from somewhere? Hi Rob and Steve!<br /><br />Thomas - you're right!<br /><br />Thanks Bruce - I saw that and I guess I was too tired while burning the way-past-midnight oil and figured it was their link at the bottom, not a set of pre-filled links. I don't so much mind the links, but would rather they pertained to my site - I see the links on the sub-pages apply, but not on the main page. Although, it looks like if I change the title, it will change the links that are provided, so I just answered my own question!<br /><br />Ok, do you know off hand if I can remove the extra links with the $50 license?
