I can't seem to find any documentation on this topic. I'm using the Web Deployment Project to create an .msi file for install on a server. However, it only allows me to create a virtual web site. I don't want this, I want to be able to create a "new" site, so I can assign an ip, and my site mappings are all correct. Anyone know how to do this? I looked through the property pages of the deployment project with no luck. It always wants to install to a virtual directory.
