Hello Guys want to know for new web sites,which things needs to do for SEO for getting high ranking in Google? very basic and the most important thing is the CONTENT. content in your website should be unique and user friendly. You can add you target keywords in it but dont overflow your content with keywords. 2 to 3 keywords per page are ok.
Next optimize your web pages. Add unique title to each page and keep your keyword in the title, unique description to each page.
Optimize your images. Add alt tag to your images.
Use good website navigation.
Use Site Map. it will help search engine to crawl and index your web pages.
Then start off page optimization. Do link building but do not spam.
Join relevant communities and take participate to discussions. Leave your link back to your site wherever possible.
Social media is also very way to promote website and get the target traffic. you have to do all the same things you do for some old site. however For a new sites you have to submit your site to all major search engines only for once. Dude have you searched this forum before posting this kind of basic thread? there is a section called SEO and there are some threads marking Sticky. have you seen them? you can get all of your information there. try to find it next time.
as a new website owner you should start SEO quickly. try to get some DO follow links from the niche sites, then try to submit your site links to the directories. then write some quality articles to submit them in article directories. to Get Targeted Visitors you can start social media marketing. try to become active in twitter or other social media sites. then start commenting , forum posting to your niche site and forums. do all these thinks regularly and you will get good result in a short time.

Make a content exactly related to your website. Use your keyword in the content. H1 heading for it, use h2 tag for inner heading.
ALT text for all images you use, try to use optimal images. Don't put external links to your home page, make inner links properly and each page must have index page link.
