VSEO question

I wanted to upgrade vbseo 2 to 3.3, I looked at the instructions at several sites, but non of them mentioned the files in htaccess folder (I'm talking about the txt files though). should I upload those files too?
Also, thinking about installing google sitemap gen. any suggestions?

Those files are for reference in case you need them. As far as I know, you only need to modify the .htaccess file that is included to fit your site or merge it into an existing .htaccess file but that would be the only one you need to upload if you don't have an .htacess file already. I believe it is the one that get uploaded to your forum root folder.
