Hey everyone....I was searching for "lisbon rent apartments" in google. I found http://www.viviun.com/AD-12430/ as the first result and when I am checking Page rank + backward link, I find pagerank = 3/10 and I find 3 backward links - internal .How can it be???You must be searching from the european servers?It is #3 and 4 in my search and the key words appear 4-5 times or more on the page. Seems pretty relevant to me.Are you are concerned about the page rank? You have to remember Goolge uses 100+ factors in determining search engine position. Page rank would only help if all the other factors were equal. Usually with very competitive keywords, or very general search terms. Then PR can be a determining factor.The reason it has PR and only has internal pages linked to it is because one of those internal pages have more internal pages linking to it which eventually has some external links going to it which is all passing the PageRank down the chain. Remember internal pages can pass PR to other pages on your website. If you keep following the backlinks you will find the source of that PR.Sorry .... BigwebmasterI thought cdx was asking how a PR-3 site could get top rankings.From last 15 days there is change in google BL now google showing page even PR as BL where as earlier it was showing only PR4 so there is change in method of BL Where as google has yet not changed PageRank and Search engine ranking results. So we should wait and watch what google do next than only conclusion can be drawn on google new method of rankingThe home page of that site has a PR of 6....I've noticed that some of the larger sites with good home page PR are getting more internal page listed in the serps.
