Very confused

Hi GuysAt present google is only picking up words from my Meta title and Meta description, but not any words from my content.How do you get google to pick words up from your content. Is this a bad thing if its not picking up any of your content.I noticed it does with yahoo, i take it they work very differently Hope you can helpRegards PaoloWhat do you mean picking up content?
