ok i know how to turn this feature on but where can i change the defualt group that verified users are changed to as they dont change from "user awaiting" to registerd
 
coppa awaiting groupid is 4
registerd is 2
but the groupid that they switch to is 3 when they confirm their e-mail
 
admincp > vbulletin options > user registration options check the setting here



If a user's account is not activated by the user visiting the link, it will remain in the 'Users Awaiting Activation' usergroup.

this is ID 3 so they must not be being activated by email then
