vbulletin setup using wamp

What is giving you errors, wamp or vb? or both? You would have had an answer by now if you gave the details of the problem ... WTF?

Normally vbulletin likes to run in the root folder. You should copy the contents of the vbulletin upload folder to your www folder.

Go into phpmyadmin and create a vbulletin database, call it anything you like.

In /includes folder copy config.php.new and rename it to config.php.

Use this model to fill in the details:

PHP:

//	This is the type of the database server on which your vBulletin database will be located.
