i have an website via vbulletin and in last week it hacked by hacker's.

i want know how can me secure my website ?!!

does vbulletin have any patch or product for secure?!!

if yes please let me know about it. it's importent for me.

how do you know you got hacked?

i'm sorry, becuase my language is Persian / Farsi and can not type into english very good.

my vbulletin is 3.7.3 and now upgrade to 3.8.2.

vbulletin hack , post thanks, last post, last register, last login user.

i don't know how hack my website.

in 6 month ago some vahabi [arabic] hacker, over 300 website hack and theme can via bug in CPANEL do it and this website's were just for iranian.
now theme back and re-hack website.

please help me for secure my vbulletin.

If he got in via cPanel or FTP, a baby could hack ANY software installed including vBulletin. Your first level of response must be to secure the passwords on both cPanel and FTP, disable FTP in fact so that you only use SSH to connect. I think what Don was getting at is that if you have ANY hacks for vBulletin that are out of date, disable them, update to the current release available for them. They are the "usual" way that hacker get into a vBulletin site especially shout box hacks. ABSOLUTELY secure your server, change your password regularly if it is a hacker target, use LONG passwords to make it difficult to do a "brute force" password guess.
