vBulletin going down!!!

Well from the posts there, lots of members are pissed off.

I guess with a nulled board, all these call backs are taken away. However, for licensed users they will have to share stats with vB.

This could be good for us, because less people spend money on vB means prices shoot down.

If you are a customer at vB, you can opt out of the adsense sharing of information. They can't steal your revenue, all they can do is collect data. This is really good for them b/c they will be able to figure out what niches pay the most and since they are a big ass company, they will just buy out sites that are doing "ok", make them a little better with on and off site seo and then start raking in the money with adsense. Then eventually sell it if they would like.

The major debate is actually about vb4.0. They originally said the they were starting from the ground up (like IPB did), and they lied. They also said in the past they were going table-less...which they aren't. They are just full of lies and I think with the new IPB coming out...you will see more people go that route. The only people willing to stick it out are the people that have invested in vBSEO. If vBSEO did an IPB-SEO, then I'm sure everyone would move to IPB :P

I think half the people care less about vbSEO... It's not as powerful as it once was and search engines have changed now.

I could see myself moving to the new IPB soon. We will see where things go.

We might need a IPBTeam forum :D

Yeah...people without it careless about it obviously. But people with it, love it. I have it and contribute most of my success to vBSEO. The week I installed it, it took my revenue from 5 bucks a day to 20 bucks a day...the very day I installed it. Then with a lot of its functions, you can do so much more with it...but people think just installing it is going to help...and it won't. If you know what you are doing with it, you will see how it affects your traffic and you will love it. But if you just think installing it is going to cut it, then you are in for a big surprise.

Well it appears you had to add your id if you wanted to optin but if you didn't the adsense was not in the download......so just check your version and see.
