Hey there, well I've been looking all over the web for a updated bridge to connect Joomla and Vbulletin. Joomla 1.0.13 and VB3.6.8 anyone have any clue where I can find a bridge that actually works for these two software?

NOTE: I've searched the vbteam forums using the search tool to find a related thread but that never works for me.

anyway thanks in advance.

Hey there, well I googled the JVPlugin and all I found was outdated websites from 2006. maybe Its just me.

could you please supply more useful information? does the plugin work for the latest software of VB and Joomla? what versions are you running on your site?

I'm currently running VB 3.6.8 and Joomla 1.0.1.3 I need a bridge that can work for these versions.

thanks for the reply.

grab it here vbteam feel free to add it to your site elsewhere this is paid for by me so it's direct from the site with upgrades.

Install instructions here

Thanks a lot Reeps, I'll try it out do you also have the documentation to install this?

or maybe you can just post the install tutorial here. do I have to install both software in one data base?

thanks again for the upload. :)

Gantz added the install for you, and yes you do need them in the same database, as it transfer users from vb to joomla and vice versa

well I installed it, but I'm having difficulties configuring the jvb_config.php and the jvb_fconfig.php ...I'm at a loss right now,

I've uploaded the folders in their proper folders etc....I think the only problem I am having is the path to my forum etc..

$VB_ROOT_PATH = I did possibly all I can do here. have any tips for this section? I think I did something wrong here.......I know I was supposed to do something like /home/bbpixel/www/forum

$VB_ROOT_URL = what URL exactly do I have to put here?

well if you guys have some helpful comments for me that will be appreciated.

$VB_ROOT_PATH = you can get from your joomla configuration file from $mosConfig_absolute_path =

$VB_ROOT_URL = this is where your forums are i.e hxxp://www.myurl.com/forums

Hope this helps
