Modification Title: Auto Move Closed Threads
Compatibility: 3.7
Tested On: 3.7 GOLD

What does the modification do?

This allows the Administrators to select a single forum for all closed threads to be moved too after a moderator decides to close the thread. The AdminCP options allows this modification to be enabled/disabled on individual forums.

This is useful if you always want closed threads to be moved to a trash forum.


Install Process:

Products (1)

Just import the product xml file via the AdminCP.


Install Time: Quick, < 1 minute

Notes:

*The moderator will be given an error if you select the destination forum as a forum that can not contain threads (IE: Categories)*

Please click Install if you use this modification.

thanks for this! but when i install and I close a thread, it doesnt go to the specified forum. =\ why could that be? i selected the forums I wanted it to apply to, went and closed a thread and it didnt move to the forum i chose for all closed threads to go to.

Got to Admincp > vBulletin Options > Change Setting in there

and then , u change the settings in there
and then u will see it
and also apply the forum id :)

Then is the hack mode enabled or re-install the mod again
hope this will do the trick , try by yourself

i got it to work, i went to go look at the reviews at the .org and it seems that it will only work if you close the thread from the thread tools, not if you close it in the forum topics page.
