Use the vB compare template function or grab a copy of Notepad+ to peg the changes. Always save a copy of original template and you can't go wrong.
Worth noting, The template system is the heart of vB and it's changing often since new owners took over. Even original style authors are having a hard time keeping up with vBulletin changes ATM and vB4 is on the horrison.
