vbseo causing bblink problems

I had to disable the "Allow Link BBCode" feature due to vbseo causing the site to time out and even crash for 3 minutes until the server resets. How do I get my BBCode links to work?

Everything in my autoresponders use bbcode links. So the type of crap I see now:
Code:
 [ url=http://domain_name_here/forums/member.php?u=3]1 Grey Fox[ /url] has reported a post.

This is in my forums, emails, and even private messages. None of the urls are hyperlinks and it looks very messy.

Any ideas how I can get this to work without crashing my server?

Note: I added the space between the url and the brackets on purpose. When I just pasted the code it showed as the link so I needed to show you what I see instead of links.

I no longer see hyperlinks in the link format. all I get now is the link with the URL and /URL tags at the beginning and the end of the URL. Of course the URL and /URL has the brackets []. If you were to make a post and type a URL address the post would automatically convert that URL into a hyper link. Well that no longer happens as it just places the BBCode in front and at the end of the link making look messy.

The reason is because I had to disable the BBCode Link feature in the "vb options" of the admincp. I had to disable the "Allow Link BBCode" feature due to vbseo causing the site to time out and even crash for 3 minutes until the server resets. How do I get my BBCode links to work?

How do I know it is because of vbseo? Because this started happening right after I installed vbseo.

Hope it make better sence now. ;)
