I am about to start delving into ASP.NET, but have a bit of a dilemma. I don't know what language to start using.

Can anyone make any predictions on what the most popular language will be i.e will there be more VB code examples on the web or C#.

This is important to me as I find tutorials with code examples etc extremely useful and don't want to learn a language if there will be very tutorials using it.

Any ideas??

Thanks

MichealMost all of the books coming out on ASP.NET are either in both VB.NET and C# or provide C# examples on the Web site. Also, while I think _most_ Web sites will default to VB.NET examples, there are a number of Web sites dedicated to C#, such as:

etc.C# will eventually replace Visual Basic, and with any luck, C++.

If you have to go through the problem of learning OOP, might as well go the C# route. That way, with the syntax similarities, it won't be much to pick up on C++/Java/JavaScript/PHP.
