Branding-free Option:
All our modifications are available brand-free. With a brand free version all text relating to ‘Syrus XL Media’ and ‘Digital Port UK’ is removed, this includes the invisible button linkback within the flash file. If you require your own logo or text, then this can be added if you wish. The fee for this is $40.00 per product.

Customization Rates:
If you require re-colorizing a fee of $100.00 is required, once a signed contract is received by us. A full ‘ground’ up version will incur a fee of $150.00, once a signed contract is approved and agreed upon. ‘Ground’ up versions take roughly 3-5 business working days to complete. Both versions are brand-fee under either customization.

All Installations:
Make sure you read these documents fully before asking for support. All ‘User Guides’ provided by us are aimed from the inexperienced to advanced user, however some configuration techniques may need to be read carefully, when populating a flash files externally. This modification uses many external files, including 7 jpegs and a text file; all are required to function correctly. You should also note the required dimensions and formats of files, as these can cause unexpected behaviour.

Flash Embed code:
Note the actual embed code is quite long, it is optimized to work on cross-browser compatibility and allow DHTML dropdown menus to correctly display. Some users may find that using the Safari browser they will see a ‘flicker’ when using DHTML menus over flash, this is a known issue with this browser. You can change the background color used around the flash file by changing the HEX color code references (by default this is set to White #FFFFFF – make sure you change all occurrences.

Button Text File (Configuration):
This file will need some explaining. Basically, it allows you to enter labels for all 6 buttons, which will override the default text within the flash file. The format of this file must not be changed, however you can change certain variable values. It is also HTML enabled, giving you the option to use limited HTML tags around text. Now, let’s have a look at this file in depth:
Open the file in Notepad, you will see default coding like this:

Code:
Content visible to registered users only..(not able to register)
What we have here is:

Code:
Content visible to registered users only.(not able to register)
You will notice that each button value is joined to the next with the ampersand symbol ‘&’, this must be used in all cases, as it tells the flash file to expect another value. We have added the bold tags around our text in this example, so button 1 (btn1) will display ‘Member of the Month’ in bold text. The line of code must not have any spaces, unless they are in the variable values. The bold tags can be omitted, we have only left them in for display purposes, if you wanted Button 1 to display text normally, simply change the value to btn1=Member of the Month.

Cube Images:
The cube images should be in a non-progressive jpeg format and with a width and height of 100 pixels square. If any image is slightly out by 1 pixel then the cube will not display correctly. All cube images must be inside the vb3d_images directory.
*Please note that the ‘left’ image must be saved upside-down due to the geometric mathematics used within the flash file. *

Background Images:
We have supplied 10 bonus background images, but you can create your own. They must be named ‘background.jpg’ and reside in the vb3d_back directory. The dimensions of these background images use a width of 182 pixels by a height of 199 pixels. These images should be optimized for small file sizes, since all images are pre-loaded into the flash file. Background images are automatically masked by the flash file, so be careful if you design a background with objects close to the edges, as these may not show.

FREE BONUS Background Images – these are all optimized for best file size and clarity. Please note if you use any of these backgrounds, remember to rename them and place them in the ‘vb3d_back’ directory.
