Hi
Noted that people still but non- .com domains that end with .net .info which already have existing .com
For eg. dude.com is an existing site but people still buy dude.info or dude.net
1)What is the rationale? Are they hoping to scrape some traffic from dude.com?
2) Also what are non-.com of big names like yahoo not taken? For eg. yahoo.info is available. Yahoo of small countries like <!-- w --><a class="postlink" href="http://www.yahoo.com.co">www.yahoo.com.co</a><!-- w --> <!-- w --><a class="postlink" href="http://www.yahoo.com.af">www.yahoo.com.af</a><!-- w --> . Maybe someone can get <!-- w --><a class="postlink" href="http://www.yahoo.af">www.yahoo.af</a><!-- w --> to do Yahoo seacrh engine for Afghanistan to catch Osama.
Thanks
