when i validated my page (www.admenswear.com/derango/index.htm) it gave me errors that "width" "bordercolor" etc, didnt exist, why does FrontPage XP Add this if they don't exist, or do they and am i doing something wrong

http://validator.w3.org/check?uri=http: ... /index.htm <validator address for my siteBecause FrontPage had proprietary functionally which only work with M$ Browsers. Also you are using the Strict DTD.FrontPage had proprietary functionally which only work with M$ Browsers does that mean that it only looks normal (or as it should) in internet explorer based browsers?It will look the same in all browsers.

Width and bordercolor have been around since pretty much the dawn of html. W3C in their infinite wisdom have decided to deem it 'DEPRICATED'. Which they are basically means its obsolete. Though it will not vailidate most/all browsers still support it as it is so widely used.

If you want to make it strict you should use a style attribute for formatting width and bordercolor:

style="width: 50px; border-color: red;"

You will get the same result, just that it will now validate.oh ok thankz:D
