Does anyone know if using the nocache meta tag on your home page will keep your site from being indexed by Google and the other search engines?Thanks in advance.ska nocahe tag is an instuction for browsers i think.It stops browsers storing a copy of the page on the hard drive.Yes, there is a tag that does that. But there's also a tag that tells the search engines not to cache a site or page but to direct back to the site.skif you dont want sarch engines to index your site, you can use robots noindex metatagI have used no cache tags on one of my site and it is working better then others.I also got a PR of 4 for the same.
