Looking for clarification on what keywords to use for the tags i use when posting an article/blog post.
Say i have the topic "How to overclock a Dell computer"
what would I tag that under? or would I use multiple tags?

If I were picking keywords for an article named, "How to overclock a Dell computer", the list would look something like this:
overclock, overclocking, Dell, computer, model number, and any other relative words that were used 3 or more times in the article.
Keep the entire list of tags/words to 10 or less, 5-8 optimum IMO.
This is not anything I have read. It is just my opinion. also please understand when i refer to tags, i'm referring to like this article is "tagged under: computers" etc...
for example look under the article at this ipage

and you can get in google keyword tools...
Thanks and it will helpful you can start something from broad to more specific.. like: computer, dell, overclock a dell make your tags which are used in your business like the example you gave use keyword like Dell Computers, Overclocking computer, computer tweeks e.t.c. how many tags should i use per article? dell computer, overclock computer, computer overclock My Friends!!!
you bring relevant keywords as a tag, if you are not find out the relevant keywords regarding to your article, then you using google keyword tools which is easy to find out keywords... and it helps too much.. IMHO, don't go for 9+, better option is 5-8. You can use as many tags as you like its much better than having 2-3 tags. If you are using a picture in your post you can even put tags with it so that it can read by the bots. if you want to promote your article at the view point of SEO then go with targeted keywords, I mean to say that what you want to target for your website that you should put in your article with hyperlink for the promotion of your website. My recommendations would be generate a list of your niche relative keywords and use them according to the hot keywords you might find on those platforms.
Have a nice day, the tags are very useful to place your site in serp. Tags in blogposts provides the pages with more attention from search engines, it's an opportunity to be kept in their cache.
