Do you have a RSS/Atom feed in place for your traditional website and/or blog?

Is it working properly?

Why you ask? Because Google has annnounced October 29, 2009 that they released a new feature using RSS/Atom feeds to discover new urls:
Quote: Google uses numerous sources to find new webpages, from links we find on the web to submitted URLs. Don't just worry about Google now using this. It's a great way to get readers to follow your site via their RSS reader too. Hey,

i think that it's new update from Google at the view point of RSS/Atom Feed, easy to update and more beneficial to reader. i have an Atom feed on my blog but i've not even verified if it is working. I think i should go and check for that. As long as you have an RSS feed enabled, that's all you need to worry about. Make sure you have RSS auto-discovery on your webpage! Yes, the RSS feed urls are working properly and deliver the results as expected. This new update is very beneficial for indexing our web pages quickly.

[Removed] Is this similar to feedburner? or the Rss/atom feeds in blogger.com. What are the benefits can we get aside from getting new pages indexed? Having a RSS/Atom feed or Feedburner not only now helps you get pages indexed in Google, people can keep up with your blog/website via a RSS feed reader and you can also use a ping service to update places that list blogs.
