I was wondering if anyone out there knew the name of the css/html element used to colour the button on the right hand side of drop down lists?
Also if someone can tell me how to colour the scroll bars on the explorer window, I'd be very grateful,
Also anyone who is into css, who wants to post some mean tricks which i could use, I would much appreciate your comments.
thanks
NeilNeil,
I don't know how to change dropdown menu arrow colours, but I can help with your other points.
To alter the scrollbar colours on a window (which only works with IE, not Netscape, Opera etc), check out <!-- m --><a class="postlink" href="http://msdn.microsoft.com/workshop/samples/author/dhtml/refs/scrollbarColor.htm">http://msdn.microsoft.com/workshop/samp ... rColor.htm</a><!-- m -->. There are quite a lot of pages elsewhere that give examples etc (just search for 'scrollbar color' - note American spelling).
As far as cool CSS sites go, have a look at <!-- w --><a class="postlink" href="http://www.youngpup.net">www.youngpup.net</a><!-- w -->, which also uses your coloured scrollbars, though not as obviously as other sites.
Enjoy I like the youngpup.net site thats really amazing!
but the microsoft.com link doesn't work
