Usergroup

Okay, this issue is really stressing me out and its becoming a major pain.

I downloaded Vb 3.8.1 from this post : http://www.vbteam.info/vb-3-8-x-releases/17121-vbulletin-3-8-1-a.html

Installation and everything worked fine, but whenever i tried to edit an existing usergroup. Example, administrators, it didnt edit the group instead it created a whole new usergroup called administrators.

I tried to change the color of admins on the forums, and next thing i see is there's a new usergroup same name as "administrators" and it has the edits i wanted on the primary usergroup.

Yes, its the same issue for all groups i try to edit.

I know this is my third bump, and i know i'll get in trouble. But this thing is like impossible to figure out.

Im trying to change the default color of the groups + add permissions for arcade / shoutbox and its doing the samething! Please, please, can someone help me out. Each time i edit an existing usergroup, it doesnt edit it. Instead it creates a new group with the edit done.

Dear pls check all your folder that its setting are 777 In CMOHD and please read out all usergroup settings. and pls attach screen shot for better help.

Just checked the installation guide, doesnt say anything about CMOHD - i've installed VB before and it worked fine now it doesnt.

Anyways, hard to take a screenshot of this, so ill try to explain it better.

Say i ..

Say i just added arcade, and now i need to set usergroup permissions so they can use it. I go to usegroup, than go to edit administrators. I make the edits i need to make, than click save group. However, the edits i made, didnt happen. Instead a new usergroup was created called administrators, with the edit i wanted.

I dont know if you can understand, and im curious if anyone else has this issue? Please, thank you for the reply, gave me some slight chance of hope. I downloaded VB twice, two different source, same gysn thing. Installed both successfully, and all worked fine.

Im using 00webhost, dont know if that has anything to do with it.
