Usergroup permissions outside the forum

Is there ANY way I can set the usergroup permissions inside my vbulletin forum to a folder outside of the forum? Like I want to have the permissions set on a folder called 'uber' in my public_html folder where the forum is public_html/forum.

Any help really appreciated!
 
from a technical point of view: nonsense
since usergroup permissions do not apply, or are the same as filesystem permissions. u are confusing sumtin there
