User groups duplicate when edited

Not sure where to put this, but I need help.

Every single time I edit a user group, instead of editing it it creates a new, duplicate group. I been messin with the bitfield_vbulletin.xml and when I replace it, sometimes it will update correctly once, then it doesn't work again. I'm pretty sure I uninstalled all modifications. Anyone know?
 
Yea.. Its not your bitfield, but its a Mod/s that cause this.. I got the same thing.. but i Disable "Blogs" and "AME", and then it works again ;) After i edit usergroups, i Enable those 2 mods back ;)
 
But I am tested it in Vbulletin 3.8.2 that i installed it newly and when i edit the user group it is automatically make a new user group so i think it is a bug of vbulletin
 
Should I just go back to 3.8.1? I don't even have any mods enabled/installed and I still get it

How do I avoid losing all my posts/members/settings when downgrading?
 
i think DGT is released bug free Vb 3.8.2 search that and upgrade to that or if u want downgrading and do not want to loose any data then make a backup and then do the downgrade
