Currently, we have a project at my place of work that wants to map the entitlements of different systems and feed them into a repository. While this is pretty straightforward, the idea is being kicked around of using SAML as the XML notation to do so.Is this a good use case for SAML? I can't seem to make that connection and I was wondering if someone with more SAML experience can guide me to understand if this is even a worthwhile exercise.If it isn't, perhaps suggest a notation that does?
