I have Red Hat Linux 7.0, running Apache 1.3.14 which has php 4.0.4 installed as module and i have sucessfully install oci8 to php. as well as oracle 8.1.6 installed.
_The Problem_: PHP cannot connect to a oracle database (8.1.6) over the network using OCINLogon, i have SQLPlus on the Linux machine and that can connect fine, queries and everything fine. but PHP just wont find/connect to the database...WHY?
(the server running NT4.0 works fine this way, Why not RedHat??
