Ok, I recently upgraded to the Ultra Hosting Plan
on www.doteasy.com ~ I tried uploading a .HTACCESS
file into my base directory, and it said file was successful, but it wont' show up :confused: :confused:

But now, even tho it has PHP support (the plan),
I can't access a vital .PHP file to set up a
Invision Power Boards forum, (think thats right now).

:( It just says the default .html file isn't there :(

I had the forums installed b4, but I had accidently
messed some options, so I went to delete it & reload it.

Well this suddenly happened.

Can anyone help me!?!?!?<-looking here-> (http://www.doteasy.com/ContactUs/)Thankx ~ but I just got it.
many hosts block viewing the htaccess files via an ftp connection. They may do this because they don't want most people messing with htaccess files, one error in an htaccess file in your root folder and your whole website is inaccessible, plus they sometimes have their own stuff in htaccess files they don't want you seeing or knowing about.
Some goes as far as blocking htaccess files from being uploaded. You can use a php or perl script though to view all the files in your folders with no file type restrictions/limitations.
