Upgrading Vbulletin

Hi all

Ok I have a heavilly modded nulled site but i also own a legit license, I would like to upgrade the nulled to the latest VB.

If I upgrade will I lose all my mods and template edits or just my template edits?

I am running 3.7.3 and want to go to 3.8, most of the mods are post 3.7 so should work ok with 3.8(I hope). I am a bit of a noob with this so any help would be appreciated.

I dont think you will lose anything mate, unless the mods you have added dont support the new version then they wont but thats it.
 
You should not lose anything really only edits you may have made to the main .php, .js files.
Any template edits you have made in the past you will not lose but obviously going from 3.7.x to 3.8.x there are gonna be some templates that need updating just be sure not to remove any manually added code while doing so...

ontop of that you may find that some mods not working so you will have to either find the latest working version of it or simply remove it until one is available.

And remember...ALWAYS MAKE A BACK UP!!
