How often will google update the content of their search engine? My first page was indexed and I got High position in the search engine, but I have updated my site a couple days ago, and its still showing the same info. In the info line before you click on the link to enter the page. Is there a way to get them to do it faster? Google updates their database on search engine often randomly, there's no exact time about it but it sure will do update. No one can tell how often so instead of worrying about it, simply focus more on improving the site until the update comes. they update their algo from time to time....wait the spider to crawl your site... if it is case of your website then google will update your site fast if you create back links. google love webistes to visit which have too many back links you have to make changes in your site regularly so that SE index you regularly. So, you have to wait. Yes, 10 days minimum in my experience. a week or two :-) if your site is pretty important i.e. referenced by other important sites you may be indexed in less than 24h.
Maybe you could submit your site's sitemap manually to speed the process up Quote: Originally Posted by kjbowen18 How often will google update the content of their search engine? U r talking about the crawling site..This is based on the site nature.. each site ill be dif. some sites are crawling daily many times some are monthly once .. So if the site is updating frequently then the crawling rate will be increased.. So make the site with rich and updated content I heard that the more you update, the more you get the spiders to crawl your site. And the more people that visits your site, bookmark it or link to it makes it even faster. Since this would indicate that you have quality content on your site that people are liking. After a big update it tends to bounce around for a few days, while all datacenters catchup, but there are minor updates all the time. google visit on site every 2 weeks so u can wait Quote: Originally Posted by core8284 a week or two :-) How well do you know about their update?

There is no exact day or month calculation regarding their update, even speculation and prediction didn't match the exact result. Better yet, do your link building process naturally and don't expect too much because Google's algorithm no longer take place at what it is before. It is unannounced.
Only the big G guys know about it.
I suggest try to Experiment, don't believe any one unless you prove it right, don't jump to any conclusion, Create a step by step procedure, try to be watchful, and also it takes lot of Patience, be vigilant, That's SEO
