i have a extrenly outdated (3.5) but licenced version of vbulletin running, i dont want to pay 60 bucks to renew the licence to get 3.8, if i "upgrade" using a nulled 3.8 is there any chance that jelsoft can catch me running a forum updated with a nulled version? thanks for your answer

No. Because the nulled version will overwrite the files and take out the call back codes that they use to find out status of all boards using their licence.

Not unless people find out its nulled. And the only way to find out, is telling people.
