update user id's

Afternoon, I have imported users from another database into my database with impex. All went fine and they are showing but the problem i have found is if i click the username i get the message "This user has not registered and therefore does not have a profile to view."

Is there anyway to update the userid's of these imported users so i dont get that message ?

Firstly, delete the "imported" usergroup so they all move into registered users.

Secondly their is no way of chaning the users ID's through the impex system. If you created a user, the impex system will most likely be off by one (or more) for all user ID's.
