Update a lot of data with a form

I want to update a lot of data (make them active) by selecting a checkbox in a form for each record. I don't know how to make a variable that keeps the value of the registries which I checked.I don't know if my explanation is right (I'm not an english spoker), so I can try to improve it.Thanks,Santiago
