I've been reading between work and projects etc. online looking at what Ican for the understanding of XML.Simply I don't get what you use it for, why do you need it? I know its infois online but I need a real world example. To me it just looks like you makeup your own tags but why? What's the reason?I guess I need the XML for dummies explanation in laymen's terms and if itssomething I should take the time to learn?One of the reasons I ask is my company is negotiating a deal with anothercompany and in the contract it mentioned something about being XML capablenow or in the future. Now from what I have seen of XML thus far this hasme off. Capable of WHAT? (making our own tags? .. hence my lack of understandingfor the XML topic)Thanks for your help..Sincerely,George
