Is anyone familiar with the UGB - Ultimate Guestbook? I had to move a site kind of suddenly. The UGB creates a file called entries.file. The script breaks the entries up into pages and places links to "next entries" on each page where that applies. I'd like to know if it's safe to replace the new, script generated file with the file on the old site, which has all the messages. I asked on the Infopop forum, but haven't heard yet. I was just wondering if someone here knew how this script works and if doing that would be ok.It should be no problem. As long as all the variables are the same: name of the file, file type, path to the file, etc..
Back up the new file and replace it with the old file and see what happens.

KevinThanks..yes...backing up the old one seems prudent. Seeing what happens is scary - for me. Ok..gonna give it a try.Ok, that didn't take long and it worked. Just needed a more script savvy person to give me the nerve. Thanks again!
