trouble with drop down menu

hi all,

I just built a menu with a menu building program, it has some flash in it if that helps.

Now it works fine when I open it on a blank web page but when I put it into my index page it doesn't.

My index page is all full of div containers and some other scripts. Will that all interfere?

Any ideas how to get the stinky thing to work.

this is the menu code

<!-- Flash menu by 1 Cool Menu FX Tool v1.3 -- <!-- m --><a class="postlink" href="http://www.menu-fx.com">http://www.menu-fx.com</a><!-- m --> -->
<OBJECT classid="clsid:D27CDB6E-AE6D-11cf-96B8-444553540000" codebase="http://download.macromedia.com/pub/shockwave/cabs/flash/swflash.cab#version=6,0,0,0" width=784 height=203 align=middle id=calvary_ch>
<PARAM name="Movie" value="calvary ch.swf">
<PARAM name="loop" value="false">
<PARAM name="wmode" value="transparent">
<EMBED src=http://www.webdeveloper.com/forum/archive/index.php/"calvary ch.swf" width=784 height=203 align=middle swLiveConnect=true pluginspage="http://www.macromedia.com/go/getflashplayer" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" LOOP=FALSE wmode="transparent" name="calvary_ch">
</EMBED>

THis is the site I am working on calvary chapel (<!-- m --><a class="postlink" href="http://www.mb-on.paoc.org/neepawa">http://www.mb-on.paoc.org/neepawa</a><!-- m -->)

thanks much

LOL, just noticed that I have a nice ol happy face in there... the code actually has just a colon and a D, lolHi again

Ummm, still having trouble getting this to work

when I view it in front page the menu seems to be placed right on top of my title image and when I view it in the browser it doesn't show at all. I guess it is behind it, not sure.

Any ideas please. I'm off camping for a week tommorrow and I was really hoping to have this part out of my hair.

Maybe should I put the script in div containers just like everything else... I'm really guessing here :confused:ok dokey

time for another update,

I fiddled around and got up on my index page...YAAA!!! however.... the drop down part seems to be dropping down in and behind the other <div> containers....

soooooo, oh wise web brains... what do I do to fix that!!!!

I humbly wait for your insiteful council.. thanks again and again perfusely
:DCan we by any chance see the rest of your page?

thanks

daveOh dave!!! dave!!!! dave!!!!! I'm sooo excited!!!!!

I just feel like the mighty flash conquoring girl!!!!!!

I think I got it!!!! Maybe i screamed HELP waaay to soon, I just kept playing with the thing, fiddled around, stuck it in a div container (not sure if THATs what made the difference or not) but it seems to be all there!!! Ya for our team!!!!!

The only catch is this... there also seems to be one great big "unregistered" reminder smack dab in the middle of everything else.....

the stinky bums!!!!!! Let me use their program for free but forget to tell me there will be this big old eye soar!!!!!

Guess this only means one thing..... Calvary Chapel's gonna hafta open up their pocket book.. lol.....

oh the joys!!!! :DLOL Well done!!!

What software are you using?:D

Shame the 'insiteful council' came too late LOL.Well, the menu program came from <!-- w --><a class="postlink" href="http://www.menu-fx.com">www.menu-fx.com</a><!-- w --> and besides that I am just playing with Frontpage.
I am really NOT a coder, I like to see what I'm doing other wise my brain gets a cramp!

The menu program , in my very ammature opinion was alot of fun but I still think its kind of sneaky of them to let me use it for free but not really be able to publish it until I buy.

Guess alls fair in virtual love and war.

The church agreed to split the menu program with me. I see no way I would ever become code queen to be able to do something like that from scratch.
So maybe by the time I'm back from camp this part will finally be done. Phew.....

Anyways, my babble's done.... (ain't ya sorry ya asked!)
